Global & National Issues

To address worldwide issues which impact women, children, and family concerns that have global and national impact in regards to poverty, education, health, and legislative initiatives. To provide a network of services by collaborating with organizations with like interests and beliefs.

Racine-Kenosha Birthing Project

  • Initiating a community-based volunteer program offering advocacy and community support to pregnant African-American women
  • Sister Friends program provides one-on-one friendship, mentoring, and education to pregnant African-American women

African American Health Coalition of Racine (AAHC)

Mission: The African American Health Coalition of Racine's mission is to reduce infant mortality, improve the health disparities of African Americans, and to insure the equitable and comprehensive health care of all people.

The AAHC of Racine will develop programs to inform African Americans about the importance of the special health problems they confront and what measures can be taken to improve health and to help them access the health care services needed.
